User-Community Guidelines

We strive to provide a community for expression so that everyone may be able to create and share knowledge, ideas, and information. As such, in order to protect users' experience and safety on Stickifax, there are some limitations on the type of content and behaviour that we allow. By using Stickifax, you agree to these guidelines, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy, all of which govern a user's access to and use of Stickifax's services. Crossing these boundaries may result in Stickifax taking one or more of the following enforcement actions:
  • deleting content;
  • suspending or deleting your account(s);
  • asking you to verify account ownership with via email address or other means; or
  • other restrictions.
The guidelines set forth govern content and user behaviour on our platform.
  • Intellectual property
    You should only post content on Stickifax that authentically belong to you or have the right to share. Do not share anything that infringes on the copyrights of other users or entities; or someone’s trademark or brand, including business name and/or logo, used in a manner that may confuse or mislead others about your brand affiliation.
  • Appropriate content for varied audiences
    Adult content — any media or other digitally-created content that are pornographic and/or may be intended to cause sexual arousal (including depictions of genitals and other private parts in full view) — are not allowed on Stickifax. Exceptions may be made for purposes of public awareness or education such as human biology, and nudity in photos of paintings and sculptures. Graphic violence — any form of gory media related to death, violence, serious injury, or surgical procedures — are also not allowed on Stickifax. You may not use such content in your bio, profile pictures, or other parts of your account's profile or the profiles of Stickifax communities you administer. While images depicting children in a caring environment may be shared, there may be times when we will remove content that show nude or partially-nude children, as it could be used by others with bad intentions.
  • Unlawful use
    Offering sexual services; promoting online gambling, online lotteries, or online real money games; buying or selling firearms and illegal or prescription drugs (even if it’s legal in your region) are practices which are not allowed on Stickifax. Always follow the law when offering to sell or buy other regulated goods. We have absolutely no tolerance when it comes to sharing sexual content involving minors, promoting child sexual exploitation, or threatening to post intimate images of others. Activities such as the support or praise terrorism, organized crime, or hate groups are totally rejected by Stickifax. You may not use our service for any unlawful purposes or in the furtherance of illegal activities. By using Stickifax, you agree to comply with all applicable laws governing your online conduct and content.
  • Avoid spam activities
    Stickifax is built to help foster meaningful relationships through genuine interactions. Do not carry out activities that constitute spam behaviour by not sincerely interacting with other users or content such as indiscriminate likes or pins given, posting repetitive comments or content, or continually contacting people for commercial purposes without their consent.
  • Abusive behaviour
    In order to ensure that people feel safe expressing diverse opinions and beliefs, we prohibit behaviour that amounts to abuse, including behaviour that harasses, intimidates, or uses fear to silence someone else’s voice.
    • You may not engage in the targeted harassment of individuals, or encourage or incite other people to do so. You also may not make hate speech or threats against others, or send repeated unwanted messages. An attempt to harass, intimidate, or silence someone else’s voice is considered abusive behaviour.
    • You may not insult or direct abuse at someone by sending unwanted sexual content to them, objectifying them in a sexually explicit manner, or otherwise engaging in sexual misconduct.
    • You may not threaten, harass, or promote violence against other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or disease.
    • You may not use hateful symbols or images in the profile image or other profile content of your account or communities you administer. You also may not use your username, full name, or profile bio to engage in abusive behavior, such as targeted harassment or expressing hate towards a person, group, or protected category.
    • You may not threaten to expose anyone's private information or intimate media, threaten to hack or break into someone’s information or attempt to incentivize others to do so (such as through setting a reward on such actions), or post private information without the express authorization and permission of the owners.
    • You may not make threats of harm to public and personal safety, including specific threats of physical harm, threats of theft, vandalism, use of personal information to blackmail, and other financial harm.
    We remove content that contains abusive expressions, and may even suspend or delete accounts that repeatedly exhibit abusive behaviour. Stronger conversation around people who have a large public audience, due to their profession or activities, may be allowed. Serious threats aren't allowed. We carefully review reports of threats and consider many things when determining whether a threat is credible.
  • Promoting self-harm
    Stickifax provides a platform for people to come together to support one another in their endeavours, some of which may include facing difficult issues such as eating disorders or other kinds of self-harm. You are not allowed to promote or encourage suicide or self-injury. Doing so is against the supportive environment we foster, and will lead to appropriate action from us. We may also take action against content and users identifying victims or survivors of self-harm if the content targets them for attack or humour.
  • True representation
    While you may maintain fan or commentary accounts, you may not do so if the intent of the account is to engage in spamming or abusive behavior. You may not impersonate individuals or entities in a manner that is intended to or does confuse, mislead, or deceive others.
  • Consideration for others when posting about interesting or momentous events
    Sharing graphic images for sadistic pleasure or to glorify violence is never allowed. While one may use Stickifax to share important and momentous events, some of which may involve graphic images, we may remove content with intense graphic violence to make sure the platform stays appropriate for everyone in the many different groups of people who use Stickifax. If your purpose for sharing certain content is to condemn, educate, or raise awareness, we urge you to include a warning about graphic violence in the beginning of the text of your post, preferably with all alphabets in the warning capitalised.

How you may help strengthen the safety of the platform:
  • Disputes and disagreements can often be resolved directly between users. If a photo or other content of yours gets posted by someone else, you could try reaching out to them by commenting on the post, requesting the person to take it down. If that doesn’t work, you may use the built-in reporting option to report a problem about the content violating your copyright or trademark via the Select page on your profile, giving as many details as possible, including the username of the offending user and content descriptions so that we may find and quickly review the issue. Avoid posting screenshots and drawing attention to the situation, targeting the user(s), because that may be classified as harassment. We may remove entire posts or other content if either the imagery or text violate our guidelines.
  • You may find content you don’t like which do not violate our guidelines. If that happens, you can unfollow or block the person who posted it. If there's something you don't like in a message sent to you or a comment on one of your posts, you can delete it. If you see something that you think may violate our guidelines, please help us by reporting.
  • In certain cases, including when we believe that there’s risk or threat to public safety, we may work with law enforcement.

For more information, you may go through our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Thank you for your contribution to helping the community grow and remain a safe and important tool for many others.
